Early Years Practitioner looking for work in September?

Hays Education are looking to recruit on behalf of Nurseries and Pre- Schools across the Wirral area, and are looking to engage with Early Years Practitioners and SEN specialists to support in a number of roles. Roles will be available on a full time and long term basis,as well as bank cover, with positions starting in ASAP.

These roles will be in provisions with excellent facilities and links with the local community. Whether you're a graduate who has recently completed a degree within education or childcare or you can provide evidence of your previous experience working within a UK based childcare or education centre - if you are looking to work in Early Years care and education, we'd love to hear from you.

You will:
  • Provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment for children aged 0-5.
  • Conform to Ofsted requirements at all times.
  • Connect with children and families teams in the local community.
  • Oversee child protection issues and respond to any emergencies or issues.
  • Help progress children's development through delivery of a learning by play curriculum at Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Provide additional support to day-to-day running of the Early Years Environment.
  • Support other members of staff in the team.
  • Increase parental involvement in children's development.


In order to be considered for these roles as an Early Years Practitioner, you will need to have recent experience within a Early Learning setting in the last two years, either within a mainstream or SEN setting.You will need to be approachable and patient and possess great communication skills when speaking to both children and other staff members. You will need to be registered, holding an enhanced DBS or prepared to obtain or renew one.
