FMCG businesses is seeking a Payroll Administrator on a temporary basis to join a busy and fast paced finance team in Bristol with a competitive rate of pay for an initial 6 month FTC

Candidates will need to be immediately available or on short notice.

Client Details

My client is a well known and successful Organisation with offices located in Clevedon. This location is easily commutable by public transport and car from the surrounding areas.


The key responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator will include:
  • Processing monthly/weekly time sheets on a payroll of approximately 500 employees
  • Resolve and feedback any payroll queries in a timely manner
  • Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel and overtime claims
  • Absence reporting - processing of sick notes, data input and reporting to the Customer and site based teams
  • Supporting the payroll manager with ad hoc project and admin tasks


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience in the payroll function is essential - confident in end to end payroll
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • Confident in handling large data sets - spot on accuracy at all times
  • Strong PC skills - including Pivot Tables and Vlookups
  • Confident and able to speak to all types of people
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • A good team player

Job Offer

The client is offering the successful candidate the position of Payroll Administrator for a period of 6 months with a likelihood of a permanent position at the end of the 6 months.
