The role will be home based for the 6-7 weeks with possible travel to Milton Keynes.

The role of Procurement Analyst is an integral role within the Procurement team, reporting to the Head of Procurement. The team is responsible for delivering the procurement department’s core purpose:

Working in partnership to increase profitability procuring quality goods and services at the lowest total cost

You will embrace the challenge of working in a diverse multi-franchise business of significant scale with a distributed decision making structure and wide geographic footprint.

This role will involve;
  • Sourcing, compiling and analysing information to support the decision making process for Procurement projects and tenders
  • Working closely with the full Procurement Team, supporting them with good clear analysis of spend, supplier performance data, RFP submissions, market data and the management of supplier relationships
  • Administration of the department’s contract database and savings tracker,
  • Assisting with the preparation of the implementation of COUPA by way of contacting suppliers and loading information to the system.
  • Identifying and delivering tangible results through cost reduction and service improvement on projects
  • Working collaboratively with the business to ensure projects meet with the business needs and reflect the Group ethos
  • Being involved in other areas outside of category such as spend reports, system and process improvements
  • Dealing with day to day queries

To be successful in this role we require you to have;
  • Highly numerate with the ability to analyse large volumes of data
  • Advanced Excel capabilities
  • Good presentation skills
  • Computer literate (Access, Word, Power-point)
  • Procurement experience would be an advantage
  • ERP or P2P experience advantageous (COUPA, SAP, Oracle etc)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter and with the drive to achieve success
