Hays Education are seeking long-term KS1 supply teachers for roles in Primary Schools in South Gloucestershire

Here at Hays Education, we are experiencing increased demand for Long-Term KS1 Supply teachers in Primary Schools in South Gloucestershire. Long-term supply work can range from a few weeks up to entire terms/academic years.

Your role will be to teach, supervise and encourage pupils with their work - planning will be required for long-term roles. Long-term supply work is an excellent way to introduce yourself to a local school and can often lead to permanent positions.

In order for us to consider you for these Supply Teacher roles, you must have:

  • PGCE in Education OR an equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working within a Primary School environment within the last 5 years - preferably within KS1
  • Demonstrable experience of classroom and behaviour management


You will need to be:

  • Motivated and passionate
  • Willing to push and support pupils
  • Capable of working in a team
