Our client, a highly respected Public Sector establishment, based in Galashiels (homeworking initially with some onsite training), require an immediately available Finance Administrator x3 for a 3 - 6 month contract. The hourly rate for the position is £10.43

The post holder must ensure all pension casework is dealt with promptly, accurately and courteously within agreed timescales. They will be responsible for making daily decisions whilst working with numerous finance and pension based systems.

  • Ability to work confidently with colleagues from other departments and professional disciplines, to maintain effective customer relationships and be proactive in satisfying a broad range of stakeholder needs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of double entry book-keeping and understanding of the financial impact of regulations is required.
  • Carrying out the administration of employer accounts on pension administration and management system; income and debt management system; financial accounting system; payroll system; and, through web portals and on-line bank accounts
  • Assisting the Finance Officer in carrying out duties
  • Experience of delivering service delivery excellence
  • Knowledge of relevant software applications including creating documents and spread-sheets using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work autonomously in organising and prioritising daily workloads and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Basic Disclosure & SC Cleared
