We have an excellent opportunity for an organized person with kitchen management skills. Experience in large scale catering, preferably within the NHS would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential.

The Dining Room at University Hospital Crosshouse serves in excess of 2,000 customers per day. In addition, we cater for and provide hospitality for meetings and functions.

Your duties include the service of meals, cash handling, customer care, general catering duties, maintaining high standard of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for HACCP and Environmental Health.

Ideally you will have experience in serving the public and have good customer care skills.

A degree of flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work additional hours during periods of leave.

Applicants, who wish to be considered, must be available to cover all shifts within the department between the hours of 7.30am â€" 7.30pm.

All preferred candidates must attend a 2 day Corporate Induction program before commencement of employment; thereafter an ongoing program of Mandatory & Statutory training .
