The University Centre provides students with the opportunity to study for a broad range of higher education qualifications from foundation degrees, BSc (Hons) / BA (Hons) top-up degree programmes, Higher National Apprenticeships and Degree Apprenticeships.

The HE Biomedical Sciences department specialises in Biotechnical and Chemical and Pharmaceutical programmes and require a suitable qualified and experienced HE Science Lecturer to support the curriculum across degree and apprenticeship provision and offer maths support up to level 3. It would be desirable if the person had some background in informatics, applied statistics or data science and a post-graduate qualification in this field.

Providing students with a supportive environment is paramount to our success and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of delivering excellent pastoral care.

This is a variable hours role to cover teaching hours needed in the department, potentially up to 0.36 FTE
