About the role

At SeeAbility, our vision is for inclusive communities where people with sight loss, autism, and learning disabilities participate as equal citizens. However, Covid-19 is having a profound impact on our society, often leaving people with disabilities feeling isolated and alone. Thanks to support from the National Lottery’s Coronavirus Community Support Fund, and The Office for Civil Society, SeeAbility is launching Creating Connections, a 6-month programme that will support people most at risk of loneliness because of the pandemic, to build and strengthen their social connections.

Working in partnership with Learning Disability England (LDE) and their network of members, this programme leadrole, will require you to work rapidly to launch the programme so that it can develop and scale targeted, contact-free peer connections, volunteer support, training and resources at a time when this is vitally needed.

If you have a track record of managing complex projects, delivering on short timescales and enjoy motivating people and organisations to achieve their goals â€" we’d love to hear from you. To find out more or apply for the role, please visit our website.

The closing date for this role will be Friday 18th September 2020 and interviews will be held on 29th & 30th September 2020.
