Academics are working on behalf of an excellent secondary school in Hull are to recruit an experienced educator to fulfil the role of tutor of Physics on a part time basis starting ASAP

As both a Teacher of Physics you will be expected to monitor the department and its growth whilst ensuring all curriculum aims are being met. Working with the senior leadership team you will ensure the department puts students education and achievement above all. This is the perfect chance to work in a well established Hull Academy where you make make a real impact to the learning of students across the Physics curriculum. The role is full time with pay based on Main or Upper Pay Scales depending on experience including TLR. The academy continuously performs to high standards and expects staff to get involved with the ethos of the school to provide the best levels of academic support possible.

The Academy is looking for a teacher or tutor of physics who can teach across Key Stages 4 & 5 whilst sustaining the department for continued growth. If you are a driven individual with all of the relevant experience and qualifications to lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT whilst being supportive to others within the department then we would like to hear from you.

To be considered for the position of teacher of Physics you must:

* Have experience teaching in Key Stage 4 & 5 Physics
* Previous TLR would be desirable but not essential as long leadership qualities can be shown
* Be within commutable distance of Hull
* Hold a PGCE and qualified teacher status (QTS)
* Have a genuine desire to lead a team of educators to provide the best Physics lessons possible
* Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons whilst leading by example
