Behaviour Support Assistant - Southampton

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an engaging, enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistant for a temporary to permanent role in one of our Southampton Secondary Schools.

The school has recently benefited from a department renovation which has seen the SEND unit separated from the main school. The new renovation allows the pupils to access an alternative curriculum.

The ideal person will demonstrate the following qualities:
  • The ability to take on a full time, term time only role - 30 hours a week, 8.30am - 4pm
  • A resilience when working with disaffected pupils
  • A motivated and engaging approach to working with students
  • Adaptability and Flexibility when dealing with new students, key stages or situations
  • Behaviour Management experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
