Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of a secondary school located in Bury from January 2021.

Due to a planned absence, this Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school have the opportunity for any Maths teacher looking to secure a temporary role on a 12 month basis. This Maths post is to start following the winter break for the remainder of this academic year, until December 2021.
  • Full time Maths teacher â€" January 2021 start
  • Leading a Maths timetable consisting of both KS3 and KS4 teaching
  • Ofsted graded Good secondary school located in the centre of Bury
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£25714 - £41604 per annum)

With a member of the Maths department taking planned leave for up to 12 months from January 2021, this well established 11-16 mixed comprehensive school wish to appoint a competent Maths teacher following the winter break this academic year.

Any Maths teachers looking for a 12 month temporary contract will have the opportunity to join a team who consistently achieve excellent results and hold a shared vision to ensure all pupils receive the highest standards of education/are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The incoming Maths teacher will receive full support from a close knit department and a popular head of department who provides clear direction to achieve this shared goal.

Maths teacher applicant requirements;
  • Hold UK QTS and experience teaching both KS3 and GCSE Maths (to all abilities)
  • Can evidence achieving excellent results within previous posts
  • Be able to commit to this position for the full duration of this temporary contract

Located towards the north of Bury Town Centre, this school is a short drive from the M66 making it easily accessible via North Manchester, Rochdale, Bolton and Rossendale.
