Smart Teachers is recruiting for SEN TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils at a ‘Good’ school in Ealing. These positions are at a much-improved primary school in Acton, West London, which is now an extremely popular place to work. The school will require SEN TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support children with SEN, either in their on-site SEN unit or within the mainstream classrooms. SEN TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistants are required across the school to support children with a range of needs including ASD.

The role
  • SEN TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support children on a 1:1 basis
  • To help raise attainment and run interventions
  • Adhere strictly to school safeguarding policies, and provide equal learning opportunities for all children
  • To work closely with class teacher and SENCO
  • £70-75 per day

Requirements

To be considered for the SEN TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistants position, you will:
  • Have recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
  • Have strong communication skills, along with a strong work ethic and degree of flexibility
  • Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
