The Company

Our client is an established and successful company based in Peterlee. They are currently looking for a Sales Admin Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

The Role
  • Admin duties relating to customers’ orders including invoicing and sales order processing
  • Providing support to other members of your team
  • Dealing with payments including cash, cheques and card payments
  • Able to multitask, prioritise your workload and be able to work on your own initiative as well as being a team player
  • Good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

The Person
  • Experience using Microsoft and SAGE is essential
  • Experience within stock control
  • Professional adaptable attitude and willingness to learn, develop and take on new tasks as required
  • Professional calming manner when dealing with telephone calls and be able to talk at ease with our potential customers
  • Must be able to understand the importance of dealing with new sales leads with a quick turnaround issuing quotations
  • Be able to work well under pressure
  • Must have excellent organisational skills to enable all tasks to be completed in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills
