Your new company
A well established organisation based in Ipswich are seeking additional support within their administration team. The role will be predominantly working from home however occasional travel into the office may be required.

Your new role
You will be working in a remote team environment with the purpose of delivering administrative and technical support across the business. This varied and exciting role will include:

  • Responding to letters/ emails/ phone calls and resolving often complex queries where possible
  • Escalating any unresolved queries to the relevant team member and following up to ensure deadlines are met
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Imputing information into databases ensuring high levels of accuracy at all times
  • Using Microsoft Office to produce documents for other team members
  • Setting up and maintaining complex spreadsheets on Excel
  • Recording and analysing data, producing reports when required
  • Liaising within internal and external parties in order to coordinate meetings
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • General accounts duties including budgeting, issuing receipts, banking, processing invoices and recording petty cash
  • Being aware of current legislation rules i.e. Freedom of Information, Data Protection, Equality Impact Assessment and Formal Complaints


What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to start on immediate notice and will also hold experience working in a job of a similar description. This is a busy and demanding role that will require you to think on your feet and act on initiative so it is essential that you are able to hit the ground running. You will have strong decision making skills with the ability to work both proactively and collaboratively, always ensuring that your colleagues are well supported.

What you'll get in return
You will be given the flexibility to work from home with occasional travel into the office. All equipment will be provided by the organisation but you will need to organise your own method of travel if required to work from the office. This role is for an initial 6 month period and it is essential that you are able to commit to the entirety of the contract. This business operate within highly sociable hours with an early finish on a Friday, full details of which will be discussed upon successful application.
