A school in the Bournemouth area are looking to recruit an Administrator to support their Health & Safety Manager on a temporary basis. To be considered for this role you should have previous administration experience and be comfortable using Word and Excel. This assignment is to start within a few days and will finish at Christmas. You need to have your own transport.

The Role
This is an administrative role and will involve a variety of duties including:
  • Accompanying the Health & Safety Manager on College inspections and write up findings
  • Answer the telephone for the department and help where possible
  • Various administrative tasks, such as post, filing, report writing and follow up
  • Uploading policy information onto the Intranet
  • Monitor the department email address and prioritise what needs auctioning by the Health & Safety Manager

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally you will have previous experience in an administrative role and have strong IT skills. You will be a good communicator and be comfortable working in an educational setting. A strong attention to detail and an organised manner will be necessary as well as a positive attitude. If you have a valid DBS that will helpful although candidates without will also be considered. You must be able to work from now until Christmas.
