TeachingPro is currently working with a school in NorthWest London. As we approach the new academic year, we are currently recruiting for proactive SENteaching assistants with experience working with young people and hold a Relevant Experience to join SEN schools in NorthWest London.

As a long-term SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be support students on 1:1 basis with a child with autism going into reception and as part of small groups. You will be supporting students across different Key Stages with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

We are looking for an experienced practitioner, confident in working with children presenting with challenging behaviour. You must be dedicated to helping students achieve their targets and encourage them to be proactive in their learning. You must have good behaviour management skills, promoting positive behaviour.

Roles are Monday to Friday, term time only.

The ideal candidate:
  • Previous experience working with young people in a school setting or similar (minimum 9 months)
  • SEN experience including Autism/ ADHD/ EAL support (desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management skills

You must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
