The Company

Our client is looking for a Teacher of Food Technology to join them on a temporary basis. You will be working alongside a team of dedicated and hardworking individuals.

The Role

Responsible for the planning, delivering and evaluating lessons in Food Technology to students in KS3 and KS4.

Role Responsibilities:

Implementing and delivering an appropriate broad and balanced curriculum for students. Monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of students. Encouraging a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Contributing to maximising student attainment.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • Qualified to teach and work in the UK
  • Degree in Food Technology
  • Effective and systematic behaviour management
  • Great understanding of subject and general teaching pedagogy
  • Knowledge of the national secondary education system, examinations and curriculum
  • Committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
