Cornwall and Isles of Scilly People Hub

Cornwall Development Company is recruiting for a further new and exciting service. The People Hub will provide an important focal point for eligible residents across the county, combining direct employment and skills support through a dedicated team based across the county, as well as providing a critical referral service to all other employment and skills provision across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Our goal is to support over 1,600 individuals with employment and skills support.

Part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), with investment from Cornwall Council and using specialist delivery partners, the project will either connect eligible residents directly to our network of providers, or deliver support based on Information Advice and Guidance principles to help remove barriers to employment.

As the project lead, Cornwall Development Company is recruiting a team to deliver a quality and compliant service that achieves the programme’s targets.

The People Hub is an unprecedented opportunity to provide a focal point for all those looking to progress with training or into employment. It will make a real difference to hundreds of lives in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. If you have the skills and passion needed to help us achieve this goal, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to successfully ensure that the processes and delivery of the project is compliant with the contractual obligations to both the Managing Authority and the European Social Fund.

The post holder will:

- Design and implement compliant systems and procedures that will form the basis of all aspects of delivery, ensuring that this is communicated and enforced with the project supply chain of delivery partners
- Ensure the compliant handling and processing of eligible participant data in line with contractual, legal and corporate obligations and requirements
- Draw up and implement an effective system of monitoring and internal audit checks on partners’ delivery to ensure standards are met
- Develop and preserve good working relationships throughout the supply chain delivery partners, promoting an atmosphere and culture of common goals, confidentiality and trust
