Cover Manager - Durham

The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Durham in search of a Cover Manager. The role is on an ongoing basis with no fixed date.

The successful Cover Manager will be responsible for organising long-term and short-term classroom cover, to ensure children's education is not disrupted by teacher absence. This will involve liaising with an external agency to book cover, as well as coordinating timetables to cover lessons internally. There will also be some exam coordination responsibilities, and experience in this area will be advantageous.

In order to be successful in your application for Cover Manager, you must be highly organised, with a proven track record of working in a similar role.

Requirements for the role of Cover Manager:
- Organisation skills
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
