A key objective of our team is ensuring our Endsleigh customers feel valued and trust us as their insurance partner, whatever the insurance need may be.

Our Customer Operations are looking for talented and enthusiastic Customer Retention Agents to join our busy team responsible for contacting customers to discuss the renewals of their Endsleigh policies, using their trusted expertise and excellent communication skills to retain customers.

The Role

So what will this role involve?

The main responsibility of this role is contacting customers to discuss their policy renewals with a view of retaining these customers. The daily activity of this role is driven by our renewal data and our agents are provided with the information they need to identify and assess renewal opportunities.

We are therefore looking for confident and engaging individuals who are able to respond to customer needs and use their trusted expertise to recognise and convert sales opportunities. We’ll provide you with the full training and support needed to confidently pick up the phone and speak to our customers to discuss their insurance needs.

We are looking for full time Agents who will work a 37.5 hour week across our operating hours (plus opportunity to work overtime), on a shift pattern basis.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm, and you’ll work various shifts across these hours. We also anticipate some homeworking options in the future whereby Agents may work on weekends or past 6pm during the week.

We’re recruiting for these roles on a temporary to permanent basis, and the hourly rate is £8.72.

The Person

In order to deliver exceptional service and ensure our Endsleigh customers feel valued we are looking for confident, resilient and engaging individuals who enjoy talking to customers and building rapport.

You don’t need any advanced sales experience or insurance knowledge, as we offer a comprehensive training scheme that will teach you everything you need to know. You will however be comfortable with making outbound calls, and working in a sales based environment, towards structured targets.

You’ll need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with at least 5 GCSE’s at A - C grade (or equivalent on the new grading system), this must include at least a C in both English and Maths.
