I am searching for an experienced Housing Officer, ideally with a support background and who is available immediately on behalf of my client, a large service provider in the Greater Manchester area. You will be covering 61 properties across 4 sites in Bolton, where an Intensive Housing Management Service is provided, along with a further 9 properties in Manchester, where you will will need to engage with the residents to assist in move on as my client are looking to close the property.

The Purpose of your role will be:

• To deliver high quality supported accommodation services, through the effective use of contract management.

• To ensure all customers receive high quality and responsive housing management services in a safe and secure environment and that they are able to sustain their tenancies and live independently.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• To work with partner agencies to ensure that services are delivered using in a partnership approach;

• To ensure contract delivery, compliance and performance terms are clear and agreed, including determining reporting timescales, KPIs and SLAs.

• To lead post-award contract meetings, active contract performance and compliance service reviews to ensure delivery is compliant with contractual terms; co-ordinating improvement plans where necessary.

• To manage business relationships positively to achieve win-win outcomes for both the company and external providers to ensure contract compliance and delivery;

• To utilise the risk and contract management framework to undertake reviews, quality checks and specific investigation work concerned with contract compliance issues in respect of all contract matters involving contracts across Independence and Wellbeing escalating any concerns to the relevant Manager(s) about the performance of agency schemes;

• To support any complex housing management case work, working jointly with the Housing and Wellbeing Worker;

• To meet recipients of services to ensure service delivery and contract compliance;

• To produce reports and management information relating to performance and compliance as required;

• To liaise with stakeholders to maximise working practices, avoiding duplication;

• To support bid and tender submission, working with the Contracts Manager on tendering of new services;

• To carry out any Health and Safety duties as directed by the Contract Manager and adhere to the provider’s Health and Safety procedures at all times;

• To promote the provider, the service and attend external meetings, identifying opportunities for service development and joint working with other agencies and identify relevant opportunities in the wider health and wellbeing sector;

• To ensure safeguarding concerns are dealt with promptly and in line with guide lines and appropriate action is taken;

• To adhere to guidelines and workflows as required;

• Work in line with the Independence and Wellbeing framework and principles.

You will need to be able to start immediately pending background checks and can expect an equivalent starting salary of £27,500 (35 hr week Mon-Fri) plus expenses and mileage at 45p/mile.
