An exciting opportunity to support pupils aged 11-16 within the Humanities department of an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school.
  • Full-time Religious Education teacher required from January 2021 until the end of the academic year.
  • Supporting students aged 11-16.
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 only.
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Paid to teaching scale point (£25,614 - £41,604).

This mixed secondary school is based in Bolton and has around 850 pupils on roll. The school has modern facilities throughout the school with interactive whiteboards and several computer suites available to both pupils and staff.

The successful candidate will need to prepare and deliver differentiated RE lessons to meet the needs of pupils at varying levels of learning ability.

The school is based within Bolton and is easily accessible via the M61/A58 and via public transport links from the surrounding areas including Bury, Worsley and Leigh.

To be considered for this position you must hold QTS and have experience teaching RE across Key Stage 3. Both experienced and newly qualified History teachers are urged to apply at the earliest convenience.
