Senior Children Support Worker - Llanelli - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Your new company
My client is a well established organisation who is currently seeking two new members of staff to join the team in Llanelli on a temporary to permanent basis. (There is a permanent position there for the right candidate.)

Your new role

  • Supporting the management to run a successful staff team and all day to day operations of the home
  • Assisting the management team with the supervisions of junior staff
  • Inducting new staff into the homes procedure and culture
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care in relation to the young people's physical, behavioural and emotional needs and to ensure that they achieve their full potential
  • Writing and maintaining placement and risk management plans
  • Supporting and encouraging educational engagement.

Due to the rural location of the home in Llanelli, you would need to hold a full driving license. They operate a shift rota system to ensure the young people in our home get the care they need. This may include working some weekends and bank holidays.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a QCF L3, be committed to the shift patterns and experience working within a childcare setting.
