The SENCO and Headteacher of a reputable Faith school in Preston are currently recruiting for a Y5 Teaching Assistant to provide general KS2 class support whilst working alongside an experienced class teacher. The role will require the successful candidate to provide small group interventions within class working alongside higher and lower attaining groups. This is an over-subscribed school with an excellent reputation within the local community. Leadership is excellent and staff are happy therefore vacancies are rare within this school.

This school has a high proportion of pupils with English as an Additional Language, therefore experience of differentiation for pupils with EAL would be advantageous. The working hours for this role are 8:30-15:15 Monday â€" Friday term time only. This is a permanent KS2 Teaching Assistant opportunity however the governing body wish to begin the role on a temporary probatory basis in the first instance. The role will initially be from 2nd November â€" 18th December with the view to extend until the end of the academic year.
