Five Education has a role in Swindon for an HLTA or a Level 3 qualified TA to work with Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils. This role is 5 days a week, and you will be working in a special school. You must have experience with KS1/2 and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs for this job.

Responsibilities and duties:
  • Supporting KS1 and KS2 pupils in the class
  • Working in a school where all pupils have an EHCP and the primary need is SEMH
  • Supporting the class teacher
  • Working alongside other TA's
  • You may be supporting outside of the classroom, and potentially at forest schools
  • Implementing behaviour management tools

Essential Criteria:
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience supporting children in an education setting
  • Experience with SEMH
  • Either an HTLA qualification or Level 3 CACHE qualified
  • A flexible and resourceful approach
  • You will be able to demonstrate positive reinforcement
  • Confidence to lead a class
  • Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
  • Confidence to lead a class
  • Free 08:30 - 15:30, 5 days a week, Mon - Fri
  • Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/Police checks
