Job Title: Post 16 Tutor (Term-Time)

Employer: Albion in the Community

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (FTE)
Location: The American Express Community Stadium, Brighton

Hours: 35 hours per week, term-time only, Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full time, fixed term to 31st July 2021 (with possibility of a yearly extension subject to funding securement)

The job

We need a dynamic, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to maintain the the Level 2 Diploma in Sport and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity in relation to our Post-16, full-time education programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Charity and be part of our Further Education team.

What does the day to day look like?

It will be your responsibility for the full delivery of Level 2 Diploma in Sport and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity to beneficiaries. The successful candidate will act as a positive role model at all times and develop and maintain high standards for teaching and learning within in the department – you will have a clear vision of how units will be taught to the learners in conjunction with the other Post-16 Tutors.

What we need

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of delivering Level 3 Extended and Level 2 Diploma in Sport alongside the appropriate degree in a related area, PGCE or recognised teaching qualification (QTLS, NQT).

The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check).
