A Primary School in East Cardiff are looking for a number Teaching Assistant to provide support on a split role basis. The mornings will be based In the Foundation Phase on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with ASD, The afternoon will be based in Key Stage 2 where you will support Literacy and Numeracy Interventions.. The position is confirmed until Easter however the role could be extended for the right candidate for the full academic year.

The school has over 300 pupils on role and caters for children aged 3 - 11 years, it has excellent facilities and boasts excellent links with community. You will be required to work as a teaching assistant, supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom. You will be dedicated to ensuring pupils achieve their best outcomes. This position will commence on 4th November 2020 In order to be considered for this role as a Teaching Assistant you will need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last two years, either within a mainstream or SEN setting. You will need to be an approachable and patient Teaching Assistant who has great communication skills when speaking to both pupils and other staff members.
