Hays Education seeking PPA Teacher for Wigan school to start after Half Term on a long term basis.

Your new company
This primary school is based in the Wigan area and due to an ongoing absence, the school has approached Hays seeking to appoint a PPA Teacher to start after half term and continue on an ongoing basis. The school is based on the outskirts of Wigan and therefore accessible from various areas across the North West, as well as having an excellent reputation locally due to their outstanding OFSTED rating.

Your new role
Joining the school following the Half Term break, you will be responsible for the teaching of various year groups across both KS1 and KS2 on a daily basis - this will range through from Reception to Year 6. You will teach work already planned by the class teacher ensuring that pupils are progressing well and completing the required tasks, as well as ensuring that all behaviour is appropriate. In addition to this, you will work closely with both the class teacher and teaching assistants to identify any intervention required and ensure pupils are fully supported.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching across various year groups within a primary setting. You will be available to start following the half term break and will also be able to commit to 5 days a week, at least through until Christmas 2020.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate and will have an attractive work life balance as this role will not require planning and preparation to be done outside the classroom, or marking and assessment. You will work closely with class teachers and SLT, therefore giving you the opportunity to further develop your teaching skills and experience and you will also be supported by your dedicated Hays Consultant. Finally, you will gain access to our Hays Education Hub and will also join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme where you could be entitled to receiving £250 in high street vouchers.
