Our client is an established, Rochester based distributor of engineering components specialising in Automation & Industrial Valves who supply nationally to companies.

The business requires an Internal Sales and Stores Co-Ordinator to complement their existing team in handling day to day customer orders and enquiries, as well as ensuring their stores are accurate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to external customers, whilst developing and maintaining customer relationships and promoting products and services to maximise sales opportunities. You will be inputting sales orders, dealing with delivery notes, booking in stock and invoicing goods out. In addition, there will be responsibility for packing and unpacking goods into the business.

As there will be a high degree of dealing with part numbers, numeric accuracy is essential. Previous experience of working in an environment involving inputting part numbers would be advantageous.

You will be enthusiastic with your customer support and servicing skills. Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry systems. Previous experience using Sage software would be a bonus. A good level of education is required, with at least GSCE`s in Maths and English (or equivalent). An ability to meet deadlines is also required.
