Complex needs Tutor

Do you have a background in SEN & tutoring? Have you had experience with complex need & ASD? Want to work in an specialist setting?

This specialist school based in Redbridge is looking for someone with experience of working with challenging children with Severe learning difficulties and ASD. You do not need extensive SEN experience to apply for this role. Passion, enthusiasm and to thrive to work in a challenge environment is essential.

The role starts in ASAP and interviews will be held in 2 weeks.

This is a full time/long term position and will lead to permanent if successful.

Skills and experience required are as follows:
SEN/complex needs experience
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Substantial experience of working with pupils with SEND, with PMLD needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition
Awareness of child protection issues and commitment to safe practice
Excellent behaviour management
Current DBS on the update service
Working with primary or secondary
Full UK driving License
Available to interview ASAP
