As a behaviour Support officer, you will join a team heavily focused on pastoral support and promoting positive choices. Prior experience working directly with: Social Emotional and mental health needs, Autism or youth offenders are encouraged to apply.

This role is physically and mentally challenging an individual who is resilient, kind natured will thrive. Whilst restraining is always the last resort a trained individual in either MAPA or Team-Teach is preferred.

As a Behaviour Support Officer you will be what is called a floating member of staff, supporting students where needed i.e classroom, breakout areas, school corridors and wellbeing suite.

The ages of students vary from 2.5 to 19 years old.

This is exclusively a term time only role. The initial probation period is twelve working weeks (3 months). Whilst this role is Monday - Friday 8:30-3:30 there are other positions with the same time working on a part-time basis with those students attending on a part-time basis.

Daily rate is pro-rated at £60.23- 85.43 per day.

The ideal School Communication and Language Assistant.
1)Experience in either: ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, Autism (ASD) Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)

2)Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS), subscribed on the update service.
3)Experience working those with additional needs between 2.5-16 Years old.
4)Legal Right to work in the United Kingdom
5)Ability to attend an interview in October 2020 and start Fulltime hours in November 2020.
6)Full Job History and original certificates for relevant qualifications.

Qualifications Required: 6 months experience within a school or similar setting

Salary: £60.23-85.43

Hours: 8:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday
