International Service Provider require Accounts Payable/PTP Team Leader for a compliance and reporting management 12 month contract

Reporting to directly to the Head Of Accounts Payable and working alongside 2 other Accounts Payable/PTP Team Leaders, you will be responsible for ensuring that all PTP processes are adhering to in relation to company policy as well as reporting is completed on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

Key duties include:
  • Provide team leadership & direction to a team of 6 Clerks
  • Provide the mentoring and coaching to ensure the best output form the team
  • Be responsible for the delivery of the core activities mentioned above in the job purpose
  • Support the PTP Service Delivery Lead and wider transactional team
  • Deliver required reporting based on the needs of the business
  • Support control & compliance awareness across the PTP framework
  • Produce Root cause reporting based upon tracker outputs and recommendations to drive best practice
  • Ensure have data integrity via all source interface systems into the ERP system
  • To adhere to UK and Group accounting policies and procedures
  • Participate as required as a team member in other special projects.
  • To carry out any other ad-hoc duties, as and when required

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • 2-5 years accounts payable/PTP managment experience
  • A self starter who is comfortable taking personal accountability & ownership with a strong ethos in Customer focussed outcomes
  • Adherence to deadlines and structure to regular delivery of recurring tasks
  • Forward thinking, with a 'can do' attitude
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand the detail behind processes
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Good level of IT skills including intermediate / advanced MS Excel
