Title: Regional Commercialisation Manager (FTC 12mths)

Location: Reading

Salary: Circa £25,000

My client is one of the leading Shopping Centre organisations in the country. With a drive to be the recognised for its excellent service, hospitality and exceptional stores within their walls.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Administrator to come and support the Head Office on a Fixed Term Contract of around 12mths. The role would ideally suit someone with a office management background or someone with strong organisational and business acumen.

The role requires a IOSH H&S qualification or equivalent. You would be helping to maximise commercial success of the Centre through identifying, developing and optimizing new revenue opportunities while fully exploiting existing revenue streams, safety and keeping the business and brand strategy .

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Support the deployment of all activities required by the local, regional and central Commercialisation teams including responding to client enquiries.
  • Assist in the management of sales performance to meet or exceed set targets; cost and income.
  • Assist in the management of department costs to ensure that the target cost to income ratio is met or reduced.
  • Assist in ensuring an organised and well-managed programme of commercial activity jointly across the assets within the stated remit.
  • Ensure that all commercial activities comply with relevant legislation e.g. Fire Regularity Reform Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, Data Protection Act etc. and that all required documentation is current and valid
  • Process various forms of contracts, seeking approval from the Commercialisation Manager.
  • Ensure close liaison with the Operations, Tenant Liaison, Marketing and Technical Services teams in each asset to understand operational involvement and requirements for events and activities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing clients, supporting the centre team.
  • Assist in the processing and analysis of financial information.

The Candidate Profile
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Experience in administrative role
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to manage multiple work-streams under time pressure

Desirable Additional Skills:
  • H&S qualification IOSH managing Safely or equivalent
  • Knowledge of corporate responsibility and environmental issues
  • Commercial awareness
  • Achievement of other professional qualifications / awards relevant to the role
