I am proud to be partnering with a successful Housing Association to recruit for an Interim Service Charge Assistant until the end of December 2020.

Key responsibilities of the Interim Service Charge Assistant will include:
  • Administering service charges for multiple development projects
  • Supporting the Service Charge Manager with practices including analysing variances between actuals and estimated budgets, and completing annual procedures relating to calculating the actual service charges for leaseholders.
  • Maintaining an accurate database of Service Charge and Affordable Rent information, taking responsibility for the quality of data and allowing the wider finance team to make informed strategic decisions.

In order to be considered for this role, the successful candidate will:
  • Possess 2 years+ experience working in service charges, with a sound understanding of the relative housing legislation surrounding the housing sector.
  • Be able to work under own initiative to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner under strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate sound financial advice to finance and non-financial staff
