What we’re looking for:

Joining Davies as an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Team Leader means that you'll provide day to day operational support and management to the team of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable employees and support to the Accountants/Finance Directors of the business for a fixed term period of 15 months.

It’s a busy role, with a broad range of responsibilities, but the fundamentals include:
  • Day-to-day management of a team of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Ensuring the team deliver on their priorities/deadlines
  • Acting as an escalation point for the team
  • Handling queries from Employees and colleagues and resolving any issues
  • Working with the London Finance Team, Group Finance Director and Claims Solutions Finance Director to achieve the overall business goals
  • Balancing the needs to achieve targets with delivering an excellent customer service

The skills and qualities you’ll need:
  • Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Knowledge of Accounting systems, such as Sage 500, Xero, Great Plains, Sage 50
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of skill in organising and prioritising
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

There are no specific qualifications that we demand for the role; and although we welcome those with previous industry experience, it’s transferable skills and qualities that we value here at Davies.
