Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with special Educational Needs? Have you enjoyed working in schools that cater for children with Autism, complex needs, SLD, or PMLD? We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide support at one of our fantastic local SEND schools. The school is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is able to support a class of 6 pupils with a range of additional needs.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO in order to provide pupils with support that is tailored to their individual needs. Bright, vibrant and challenging, this school requires a Teaching Assistant who is able to hit the ground running and think on their feet. This role is ideal for an experienced TA who enjoys supporting children with additional needs.

Job Role:
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Providing additional support for Teaching staff
  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group intervention support
  • Encouraging children to try new things and overcome barriers to education
