Pertemps Recruitment currently require a Site Administrator to work with a leading food production company based in the Cambuslang area of Glasgow.

This will be a temporary post expected to last for the next 6 months, with potential to go permanent.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Cambuslang Depot, providing exceptional customer service to the company’s customers, stores and franchises.

This contract will be between 40 - 42 hours per week, shifts will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Rate of pay will be £8.80 per hour.

Responsibilities;
  • Support the Management Team in all administrative duties and meet/greet visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Ensure that general site supplies are maintained
  • Devise and maintain office systems, including spreadsheets, data management and filing
  • Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with temporary agencies in relation to payroll and also weekly agency costs/hours/overtime
  • Log and process all store complaints, keeping track and escalate as appropriate
  • Ensure all data information is captured and logged for the purposes of KPI’s budget
  • Ensure all deliveries are receipted correctly onto the ERP system
  • Support the Management Team with ad-hoc duties such as note taking, arranging meetings, arranging travel and accommodation

Skills/Experience Required;
  • Previous similar experience gained within an administrative role, preferably in a logistics environment
  • An understanding of transport / logistics operations would be advantageous
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with ability to extract and manipulate data
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills (including Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work at pace to meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy at all times
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met

The start date for this position is expected to be Monday 9th November
