Our client, a well known Public Sector organisation based in Hamilton, requires an Administrative Officer on a temporary basis for an initial 2 month period but could extend. The salary for the position is £10.84 per hour. Hours of work are normally Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm however flexibility out with these times may be required. The role is currently home based but initial training may be in Hamilton.
A Standard Disclosure issued within the last 12 months is a requirement for this role.

Main Purpose of the role:
Administrative Officers carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the tribunal, facilitate hearings and provide support to other functions within the organisation.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate hearings through the use of BT conferencing and administrative functions in line with set processes, maintaining regular contact with HQ. Please note our hearing's clerks are currently working exclusively at home
  • Complete necessary hearings documentation within set timescales
  • Making use of mobile IT equipment. This will be your responsibility to ensure this is secure at all times
  • Collate all relevant case information, liaising with external stakeholders and the President's Office as necessary
  • Embrace multi functioning initiative across the business
  • Work closely with our Continuous Improvement Team to maximise efficiencies within the business
  • Complete mandatory E-Learning as required
  • General administration tasks as required
