Resourcery Group are working with a client who are looking to separate one company from their accounts function and require an interim/temporary Finance Manager to support and run this exercise. It is anticipated to be a 3 month assignment and requires a hands on candidate with end to end experience.

The Finance Manager's role:

  • Looking at existing processes and mapping those out ready for transfer to the new company
  • Manage the month end reporting
  • Ensuring that all purchase ledger and sales ledger activities are posted and recorded accurately
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Financial and statutory accounting
  • Liaise with auditors at year end

The ideal candidate:

  • Be available at short notice and be able to commit to the duration of the assignment
  • A fully qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA or potentially QBE
  • Have hands on ability to pick things up and run with them and be able to work relatively independently
  • Have operated at the Finance Manager level previously
