Seven Social Care is looking for a exciting opportunity for a social worker to join our MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) Service. The pay rate is £29.93 per hour + 45p per mile for mileage expenses!

The role:

You will be a part of a dynamic social work team committed to delivering a high quality service to the children and families of Dudley. You will be encouraged to enhance and develop your skills as Dudley offers a wide range of training and development opportunities both in-house training and through other means such as Research in Practice. You will have an assigned administrative co-ordinator and direct access to the Centre for Professional Practice, with a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to support the MASH Service.

Key Responsibilities:

- As a Qualified Social Worker you will have a sound knowledge of the relevant legislation required to do the role.

- Support the current MASH managers and duty contact workers to process these referrals and discuss concerns with professionals and families to ensure the correct threshold is assigned and the correct outcome is acheived from all the information gathered.

- An experienced social worker will enhance the current MASH structure and bring knowledge and experience to the team.

Applicant Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
  • Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
