Your new company

A manufacturing business within Carmarthen are looking for a temporary worker up until Christmas. A forward thinking organisation which supplies a very interesting product worldwide.

Your new role

* Assess complaint information provided and conduct additional investigation as needed (e.g. review against RM, CER and IFU) and escalate as appropriate.
* Evaluate event to determine if it qualifies as a complaint.
* Manage the data entry of customer complaint files including the use of IMDRF investigation, problem and root cause coding.
* Act as process lead when updates to the complaint handling processes are needed.
* Seek information and input, and challenge as appropriate, from Product Safety, Engineering and other departments/business units for complaint investigations.
* Partake in the evaluation of complaints
* Summarize findings, including a review of the investigation and document in the customer complaint record.
* Manage customer relationship and expectations during course of complaint investigation and resolution process
* Lead and plan agenda for and run weekly meetings to discuss complaint issues (where required) with affected functions (e.g., Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Suppliers, R&D etc.) to identify assignable root cause, resolve open action items, and gather additional technical information to resolve complaint.
* Prepare and submit final customer correspondence.
* Review complaint files for content and completeness prior to closure.
* Analyse and/or audit complaint data/files including trend analysis and where necessary escalate to the CAPA review board / committee for consideration.
* Prepare customer compliant analysis reports for review at monthly QIG and twice-yearly MRQ.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures and specifications across the company and ensuring that these are compliant with the Quality Management System.
* To be responsible for planning own workload and works with limited input from the line manager, influencing personal training and assisting in setting appropriate timelines for projects.
* To follow and promote Company, HS&E and Quality procedures and standards to enable the site to achieve and maintain excellent results.
* Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the skills and responsibility of the post holder.

What you'll need to succeed

Extremely organised and able to follow procedures. Previous experience in a quality role.
