Full time role

The Role:

A primary school in Blackburn are looking for a full time EYFS teacher. The position is to start after Christmas, January 2021 due to a scheduled absence in school. The role will most likely be until the end of the academic year, including hand over days in July for the class teacher returning. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS National Curriculum. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is confident completing baseline assessments with the children and can produce efficient planning. You must have experience in the teaching of Phonics, particularly Letters and Sounds. The Head Teacher has said they are keen to consider NQTs, RQTs and experienced teachers for this role.

The school is located in Blackburn and provides an ideal EYFS setting including well organised outdoor provision, a wide variety of structured continuous provision and challenge areas, for example the children are given the responsibility to complete a number of tasks in different area throughout the week.

The role is to start on Monday 4th January 2021, until June/ July 2021 on a full basis. The successful candidate will interview with Head Teacher. The Head Teacher aims to short listed suitable candidates by Tuesday 8th December 2020.
