Service Team Leader - Homelessness

Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of an experienced Housing Association for a Service Team Leader to assist with a service which provides support to customers experiencing homelessness.

Your new role
Your new role will be managing a number of staff members, each with different duties in supporting customers in their journey. You will be responsible services and accommodation runs smoothly, ensuring customers are properly supported and signposted to services available and providing a safe and warm environment for those within the schemes. You will also work closely with the referrals team, ensuring any referrals are dealt with efficiently and suitable accommodation is sourced.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the role, you must have proven experience working closely with customers facing such issues and supporting them on their journey to independent living. You will ideally have a good level of experience managing teams and individuals, to ensure the smooth running of the service. Given the nature of the role, candidates must also have a full clean driving license in addition to an enhanced DBS.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a temporary contract expected to last 3-6 months.
