Temporary Payroll & Finance Officer

This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll professional to join a fantastic company on a temporary basis. Our client is looking to recruit a knowledgeable Finance professional to take ownership of the payroll, alongside other Accounting tasks.

The role is being offered on a part-time or full-time basis, although you must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 working days per week. Please only apply for this role if you are available immediately.

Temporary Payroll & Finance Officer Responsibilities
  • Responding to any payroll related queries
  • Preparing the monthly payroll
  • Administering any payroll changes such as SSP or SMP
  • Supporting with management accounts
  • Providing ad hoc general support to the finance team, as required

Temporary Payroll & Finance Officer Requirements

You will be an experienced Payroll Officer or Payroll Manager with current and in-depth knowledge of all elements of payroll compliance, calculation and processing.

You will be an effective and highly-organised candidate with superb interpersonal skills and have an ability to connect with people at all levels. Your exceptional oral and written communication skills will be of huge importance as you explain new concepts and offer advice to colleagues with clarity and professionalism.

Your CV will demonstrate the ability to hit the ground running â€" you will either be a qualified finance professional (either part of full), or qualified by experience.

In this crucial role, you will be able to escalate any problems and use your initiative to work effectively.

This position is being offered on a full or part-time basis, although you must be available for a minimum of 4 days per week.

Our client is situated in Central Oxford (OX1).

Sadly, due to the City Centre location there is no parking available. However, the offices are very easily reached by public transport. PLEASE NOTE â€" you will be required to work on site, where social distancing measures are in place. Therefore, you must live within a reasonable commute from Oxford.
