Principal Resourcing are recruiting for a qualified Science Teacher, specialising in Biology for a long-term supply role at a secondary school in central Bradford. The school requires an enthusiastic teacher to join their growing Science department from January 2021 until the Easter break.

The school is a larger than average 11 to 19 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the city. They provide high quality teaching that challenges every pupil. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Biology from KS3 to KS5 and will benefit from the use of modern and well-resourced laboratories.

What you will require:
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. QTS)
  • Evidence of good classroom control
  • A strong and creative approach to teaching and raising attainment
  • A commitment to develop the personalities, talents and abilities of all students
  • A willingness and enthusiasm to commit to the expectations of the role and desire to contribute to extra-curricular responsibilities
  • A current DBS registered with the Update Service or willing to obtain one
