Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester, seeking to appoint an Academic Mentor on a full-time temporary from January. The role will involve working one-to -one and with small groups of students to enable them to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will provide support to students in GCSE Maths and English and will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
  • To provide academic intervention to students studying GCSE Mathematics and English either one-to-one or in small groups to raise over-all academic achievement.
  • To work with individual students with Special Educational Needs.
  • To provide in-class support to targeted students.
  • Ensuring high standards and acting as a positive role model.

This inner city school has a catchment area providing education for a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Due to recent improvements, the school now has a modern building with excellent facilities throughout.
