Seven Social care is looking for a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker in Bristol

Part time/Full time

Ability to speak Polish is Desirable

The role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide support to the service users in line with the actions identified in the care/support plans.
  • To ensure that SafeLives DASH Risk assessment, Individual Safety & Support Plan, Severity of Abuse Grid are in place and reviewed 6 weekly to support the client.
  • Domestic violence, legal advice, housing needs, tenancy support, support of children, access to learning or employment dependent on the individual's aspirations and needs.
  • Ensure that identified support targets have been met in conjunction with other agencies delivering care and support services to clients.
  • To ensure that support planning is outcome focused and that clients inform the type and level

of support that they receive.

Applicant Requirements:

Knowledge/ Experience:
  • Ability to speak Polish is Desirable
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the support needs and support planning of women, men and children experiencing domestic violence.
  • Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System
  • Compliance: Current Enhanced DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.

Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK.
