If yes, we want to hear from you! Lancashire Care are looking for new health care assistants to join the team in Blackpool and you would make a great fit. We are looking for HCAs to work early and late shifts across a variety of wards. The site is made up of:
  • 4 x 18 bedded adult functional wards (2 male & 2 female)
  • 2 x 18 bedded advanced care wards (1 male & 1 female)
  • 2 x 15 bedded dementia wards (1 male & 1 female)
  • 2 x 8 bedded psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) (1 male & 1 female)

  • Establish relationships with patients and their families
  • Monitor and attend to patients at all times
  • Work closely alongside nurses and senior members of the team
  • Help to feed and wash patients
  • Record patients activities and behaviours throughout the day

  • 6 months experience in a care related environment.
  • Ability to complete a DBS check
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Must be able to provide proof of immunisations: Hep B, Varicella, MMR and TB
  • Manual handling, first aid and PMVA training are mandatory before beginning the role but training can be provided.
