A fantastic opportunity has become available for an immediately available Payroll Administrator to join my client on a 6-9 month contract based in Northampton. This position will be split between office and home working so the successful candidate must be within a reasonable distance to Northampton.

My client is a large and successful organisation based in Northampton, who have an immediate requirement to recruit a professional and proven Payroll Administrator into the team.

Description

The role includes a variety of duties including:

· Weekly and monthly payroll preparation for the company workforce

· Investigating and resolving payroll queries

· Statutory calculations such as SSP,SMP, SPP etc

· P11ds, P45s, P46s

· Payment runs

· Maintaining starter and leaver records accurately

· Ad hoc payroll administration and time sheet processing

Profile

The successful candidate must have a proven track record in all aspects of payroll preparation.

System knowledge of ADP will be advantageous but not completely essential.

You will be knowledgeable on payroll and government legislation relating to employee benefits and payments.

You must also have excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with staff and resolve their payroll queries in an effective, but sensitive manner.
