Operations Housing Manager - £29K - Temp ongoing - South London

*Opportunity to apply for a permanent position after being in post as a temp*

Based in South London,we are seeking an experienced Operational Supported Housing Manager to lead a team of Advice and Support Officers.

  • You will lead and develop a team in south London to deliver high standards of support, guidance and engagement activities for young people
  • Ensure that safeguarding and child protection policy and protocol is adhered to.
  • You will manage supported housing or supported lodgings services in order to prevent homelessness.
  • Ensure that performance and quality targets are met, ensure service user strategies are delivered and contractual KPIs are met.

  • Applicants need to have proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to providing high quality supported housing services to young people and families to prevent homelessness.
  • Work within service budgets and will contribute to annual budget setting.
  • Must have extensive experience and a strong background in supported housing services, working with young people or other vulnerable people and/or a background in homelessness prevention.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety at work.
  • Experience of auditing, monitoring and reviewing the quality of the service, ensuring that commissioners, external regulatory and statutory requirements are met, while recommending and implementing improvement.
  • IT Literate, skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.).
  • It is desirable to have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Flexible to work evening and weekends when necessary.
